TWD: Buttery Jam Cookies

Today I eat my words. Remember how I said that I must not be a jam with my cookie kind of gal? Well... not only did I end up falling in love with the Sables, but these cookies were AWESOME!

I loved the bits of apricot jam throughout the cookie. These were easy peasy to make and so delicious to eat!

Thanks to Heather of Randomosity and the Girl for choosing this weeks recipe. Head over to her blog for the recipe and check out the blogroll to see what wonderful variations were created!

I was SO expecting not to like these, and I really did enjoy them. I almost didn't make them, and I's so glad I did! Nice job.

These grew on me too! I used mango jam, but next time I'm using apricot!

Great job Cristine! These were very well received by Grumpy (who I proved wrong - he kept telling me that butter only made cookies hard - HA)

Yep, funny how the "pre-post" comments sort of cloud your judgements. Glad you liked these too. Apricot is hard to beat in these, especially with the little bits of fruit that dance upon your taste buds.
Thanks for stopping by and Merry Christmas to you and your family.

btw, thanks for the sugar cookies recipe! Don't tell Dorie, but I liked yours better! ;) Fat and soft. That is how I like my sugar cookies, too! I made Jam Thumbprint cookies instead of the Buttery Jam. I know you love jam cookies! Ha! Ha! I am going to a Christmas Cake class tonight . . . hoping to learn how to make yule logs. How hot is that?! Whoo hoo! I'll visit you again soon. xoxo.

Good for you - I'm glad you converted yourself to a jam kind of girl. Although there is no substitute for chocolate.......
